Sliding Scale Therapy - Why I Offer it

Cost can be a problem when trying to get the counseling you need.

 

• Most therapists do not offer a rate based on income level

• Many people can’t afford counseling, and go without

 

Counseling shouldn’t be a major item in a person’s budget, and it doesn’t have to be. I believe that counseling should be affordable enough for everyone who needs it.

Free & Low cost Therapeutic Support Groups: Free for first 60 days, $25 annual dues for unlimited groups. 

Less than .50 cents per group. Groups led by licensed therapist and formally trained Master's Level Interns.

Sliding Scale - How it Works

 

My desire is to have everyone be able to get the help they need, regardless of their income.

 

Provide your tax information, and we can work out a rate within your means.

 

Rate Scale:

 

$30, $55 & $75 sliding scale spots are now full.

Household income consists of your income and the income of others you reside with.

 

Household income between $0 - $45,000 - $90 per session

 

Household income of $45,001 and above - $150 per session

 

No Insurance but Desire Counseling? I Can Help.

You may find yourself without coverage for your counseling needs for a variety of reasons:

• No insurance

• Insurance, but with high copays

• No mental health service coverage
