Alexandra has always had an interest in supporting others. She truly believes that living a fulfilling life starts with getting in touch with our needs and values, so that we can honor ourselves and live in alignment with what matters most to us. She helps clients in their healing journey by encouraging them to honor their inner voice and spirit and create a life that is centered on compassion (for both the self and for others).
During sessions, Alexandra holds a safe space for clients to express themselves, explore their experiences, and become curious about their feelings and needs. She integrates empathy and reflections, mindfulness, meditation, and embodiment practices into sessions with clients as well as provides individualized takeaway suggestions to help them gain a deeper awareness and understanding of their thoughts, experiences, feelings, and needs.
Alexandra attended New Mexico State University and later graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2017. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree, she attended the New York Center for Nonviolent Communication’s Integration Program in 2018. Alexandra is currently attending Wayne State University’s MSW program. She leads and coordinates Nonviolent Communication (NVC) events, workshops, and practice groups in the Metro Detroit area and finds meaning and joy in sharing the skill set and consciousness with others.
Alexandra is a Master's Level Intern who is supervised by LMSW Charity Loring.
